Dr. Casey Dunn is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology. Dr. Dunn earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame before moving to New Orleans to obtain his medical degree from Tulane University. He subsequently stayed in the city to continue training at Tulane with a combined residency training program in Internal Medicine and Neurology, followed by a fellowshipin Vascular Neurology. After a decade in New Orleans, he moved upriver to pursue a fellowship in Neurocritical Care at Washington University in St. Louis. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is board eligible for Vascular Neurology certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as Neurocritical Care certification from the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.
Dr. Dunn is excited to be back in New Orleans working at Tulane. He is pursuing his passions of medical student and resident education with specific emphasis on clinical bedside examination and diagnostic tools in the intensive care unit. A former football player while at Notre Dame, he is also interested in the field of post-concussion and traumatic brain injury care.
